how it works
CDL Legal members will receive legal help in the defense of moving and non-moving violations. Violations include speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield, following to close, equipment violations, logbook violations, overweight, overlength, overheight, parking tickets and much more.
Keep your drivers driving and give them a reason to keep driving for you by proactively defending them.
Attorneys can be expensive. Costing $1000 to $3000 for out of state violations affecting a CDL.
Not to mention how do you know who to trust? We put our network of attorneys through a vetting process to make sure you are getting a high quality local attorney.
We have several packages to choose from all making proactively protecting your drivers very affordable.
When a driver receives a citation for a moving or non-moving violation, CDL Legal will provide a local attorney in the area the citation was received.
Local attorneys will be the most familiar with the judge and local laws. The driver or carrier will then have the option to hire that attorney. Once hired, CDL Legal will pay the attorney to take the case.
As a management team we have experienced a 95% success rate getting tickets reduced or dismissed.
Roadside and scale house inspections are all to common. In the event a driver receives a violation on the inspection, the carrier will need to provide us with the inspection report.
CDL Legal will then challenge the violation through the DataQs system. If there is a citation associated with the inspection then the citation will be fought through the courts first.
Once there is a positive court outcome then we will challenge through DataQs. 100% of reduced or dismissed tickets will be updated on your CSA score.
